I am a Traditionally Funded Candidate seeking RE-ELECTION in House District 66 which includes all of Mercer, Oakland, Smithfield, Starks, and a small section in the northwest corner of Sidney. I was born and raised in Skowhegan but have lived in Oakland for over forty years, with my wife Wendy, where we have raised our three children: Cheri, Christine, and Steven. I am a retired pharmacist.

I am currently serving my ninth term as a Maine State Representative, including two years during which I served as Maine's Speaker of the House. I am also currently a member of the Oakland Town Council and a member of the Oakland Lions Club.

I think that my experience in state and local government, in addition to my business and professional background will be valuable to the folks who live in Central Maine and across the State of Maine.

1. Government telling you and I that we must buy electric vehicles. . .IN MAINE. . .REALLY???
2. Open borders that allow millions of aliens to enter our country and strain our systems and resources.
3. Inflation caused by massive government spending (especially on new programs) and the printing of money. It is the main cause of high prices on our groceries and virtually everything else.
4. High energy prices resulting from government controls on production and special interest groups pushing windmills and solar panels.
5. Increases in crime and the shortage of law enforcement officers.
6. Unnecessary government mandates that keep people out of work.
7. Violations of our Constitutional Rights.
8. Education falling behind that of other states.
